As summer unfolds, New Ulm offers a variety of events for residents and visitors alike. Here’s a look at some upcoming highlights:

New Ulm Farmers Market

Starting June 11, the New Ulm Farmers Market returns, celebrating its 29th year. The market will be held at 1315 S Broadway on Thursdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (through August 27) and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (through October 10). Attendees can enjoy fresh produce, local crafts, and community camaraderie. New additions this year include free transportation, complimentary runner services, a Loyalty Punch Card program, and Farm-To-Fun Days.

New Ulm Car & Bike Roll-Ins

Car and motorcycle enthusiasts can look forward to the New Ulm Car & Bike Roll-In series, beginning Saturday, June 13, from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Minnesota Street, from 3rd North to 1st South. The event features classic vehicles, live DJ music, and food trucks like Simply Made Right and Sleepy Bison Grill. Downtown shops and restaurants will also be open for visitors to explore.

Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession

On Sunday, June 7, at 3 p.m., the Diocese of New Ulm will host a Eucharistic Procession led by Bishop Zielinski. The procession will begin at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity and proceed to The Church of St. Mary, now dedicated as the Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Prairie. A time of prayer and a free barbecue will follow the procession.

New Ulm AutoFest

Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 28, when the New Ulm AutoFest takes place at the Brown County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free event showcases over 350 vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, and trucks. Activities include a model car contest, swap meet, and the Pink Ladies Garage with over 40 craft vendors. Food vendors and a live DJ will add to the festive atmosphere.
